29 Gorst Gorst Street can be found by following Avenham Lane along to where it "Kinks" at the top. There you can see the junction to Oxford Street which still exists. Next is Gorst Street which was long since demolished and is the site for a tower block of flats. Follow Gorst Street down to the end and number 29 sat on the end of the block and was also around the corner where the same building was formerly Queens Palace public house. This was the Preston home of grandma Skelhorn which was shared with the Gannons in the basement and Ken & Jean in the attic. (Refered to as the Black Hole of Calcutta by Jean). Fred and Elphi, Stan, Mabse and Dennis are also known to have stayed here.
